Affiliate Programs can boost the profitability of your website. You have to choose the right combination of affiliate programs according to your site category and contents. Do not join any affiliate program just because they offer more commission, you may never earn anything if your site contents are not in relevance with the affiliate programs you have signed up.
I have compiled some of the best affiliate programs available on net. Join them and boost the profitability of your site.
1) Google Adsense : They have withdrawn their "affiliate commission" for Google Adsense signup's. However they are still No.1 in my opinion in terms of earnings generated from your site. Minimum Payout Limit 100 $. Payout mode : Cheque
2) Link worth : They have variety of ad formats such as "Link Sura" & "Link Mura" which requires Php & server side support. In their "Link words" ad format they display "In-Text" ads and you will earn minimum 8 cents per click. In "Linkin Txt" ad format you can fix your own price for the links to be displayed in your site. If any webmaster signs up through your affiliate link and spends or earn 100$ you will earn 50$ commission. Also earn 5% comission on referral earnings. Minimum Payout Limit $25 through Paypal, $ 100 for Cheques.
3) Ads for Indians : Unlike other companies, they offer flat rate of Rs.3/- per click on their ads. Minimum payout of Rs.1,000/- through bank account credit. They have withdrawn their Referral program.
4) Oxado : They support various sizes of ad formats. They have an "auto scrolling" ad which enhances the look of your site. Earn 10% commission from your referral earnings. Minimum payout 100 Euros via Paypal.
5) Bidvertiser : Low minimum payout of $10 via Paypal $50 for payment via Cheque. CTR for their ads are much lower, however they have an attractive Referral program. If your referral earns $10 you will get $ 10 and if he earns $ 50 you will get another $ 40. If they spend $ 10 as advertiser you will earn $ 5 and if they spend $ 50 you will earn $20.
6) Adbrite : If your website is receiving lots of traffic but CTR is very low, then they are the best, since you can choose to display their CPI ad's (i.e.Cost per Impression) and earn money even if no one clicks on the ad. Also they have "In Text" advertisement and "Full Page" ad formats. However it will not suit for the sites having less than 500 visitors a day.
7) Matrimonial affiliate with sites like Bharat Matrimony, Shaadi. Dating affiliate with sites like Fropper are recommended if your site is receiving many visitors in the age group of 21 - 30.
8) Money cosmos : Leading Performance Affiliate Marketing site in India. Earn comission for registrations / download / purchase through your links. Minimum payout just Rs.400/-. (20% Referral comission for 3 months).
